Our Process is Different - We Build Better
Pests can be a big issue and so we treat the first 3 feet of studs. This treatment is an effective preventative measure against certain wood-destroying pests, particularly termites and carpenter ants. This practice, for us, is a standard on all of our additions and ADU projects.
Our window flashing vs. The competition flashing. We use liquid flashing on all openings and penetration instead of the industry standard, Butyl tape. It is more durable and a guaranteed seal. Not just water tight, but also air tight.
This laundry room is an example of how we prepare for trades to begin work. We label the project with all necessary information to prevent mistakes and change orders.
On every kitchen remodels, we layout all our cabinets and walk our customers through the project.
Part of our package is that we install a thick 6 mil. vapor retardant on any new additions and ADUs, as seen in this crawl space pictured. This is to prevent moisture from the soil mitigating to the floor joists and possibly wood flooring. It is also an added benefit for the subcontractors or anyone in the future that may work underneath the house.
Site protection is very important to Triage Carpentry and our clients. Site protection protects finished surfaces, reduces cleanup which means the project stays cleaner, improves safety, preserves property value, and increases efficiency. Pictured here is dust protection used throughout the duration of the project.
